Daytona Beach is one of Florida's most exciting deep sea fishing destinations, offering anglers access to some of the most productive offshore waters on the entire East Coast. Whether you're chasing hard-fighting pelagic species in the open blue or dropping down to the reefs for bottom fish, a deep sea fishing charter out of Daytona Beach delivers world-class action just miles from shore.
We offer two deep sea fishing options to fit your schedule and goals. Our 3-hour trip takes you 5–10 miles offshore, targeting Shark, Cobia, Snapper, and Kingfish along the nearshore reefs and ledges. For anglers looking to go further and fish harder, our 5-hour trip runs 20–30 miles offshore into the deep Atlantic, where you'll target Snapper, Mahi-Mahi, Sailfish, Grouper, and Cobia on heavy-duty tackle.
From the moment you step aboard, Captain Brad and his crew take care of everything. All rods, reels, tackle, bait, and fishing licenses are included. Once we clear the inlet and head offshore, you'll feel the energy shift — the water turns deep blue, the coastline fades behind you, and the fishing begins.
On the 3-hour nearshore trips, expect fast action on the reefs. Kingfish and Cobia are aggressive hunters that hit hard and run fast. Snapper fishing along the bottom structure keeps the rods bent throughout the trip. Shark encounters are common and always get the adrenaline pumping.
On the 5-hour offshore trips, the run out to 20–30 miles is worth every minute. The deep Atlantic holds some of the most prized game fish in the ocean. Mahi-Mahi are known for their explosive strikes and acrobatic jumps. Sailfish are the ultimate trophy catch — fast, powerful, and absolutely breathtaking when they tail-walk across the surface. Grouper and Snapper provide excellent table fare and are always a crowd favorite.
The pelagic species, including Cobia, Amberjack, King Mackerel, and Mahi-Mahi, are our primary targets from April through October. These impressive fish can weigh anywhere from a few pounds to over 100 lbs, providing a strong fight that anglers will remember for a lifetime. Our coast is also rich in bottom fish, with Grouper and various Snapper species — including Mango, Red, Vermillion, Lane, and Mutton Snapper — along with Triggerfish and Sea Bass.
A bit of history: during the 1970s, most natural reefs were decimated or overfished. To combat this, thousands of artificial reefs were introduced along our coast by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission and the Army Corps of Engineers. After over 35 years, our offshore fisheries have thrived — making Daytona Beach one of the best locations for deep sea fishing in the world. These reefs continue to provide new habitats, creating a food source and cover for smaller fish that attract the big game species we target every day.
When you're in Daytona Beach, it's essential to have the most knowledgeable captain who understands what's working and where to go on any given day — and that's where Captain Brad comes in. With decades of experience fishing these waters since the 1990s, including commercial fishing off the Bahamas and running offshore charters full time, he has the skill, knowledge, and local expertise to put you on fish. Let his experience ensure you a trip of a lifetime. Remember, it's customary to tip the captain 20% of the charter price.
